Pitz's Drumset progression

Postby pitzbull » Sat Jun 12, 2010 8:52 am

I am pretty happy with how my kit has developed. Yes I have GAS and I am proud of it.

Image
The real beginning of my drumming life. Yes it began with GHWT.

Image
I fell in love with drumming and had to have something more substantial to hit.
As I bought it with my lovely drum throne.

Image
All set up with 360 controller.

Image
Lets add in an event processor for those blue hi-hat notes.

Image
Time to lash out on some mesh pads.

Image
I really needed the CY-5 for a hi-hat.

Image
Thanks Dave from Diamond Drums. I love my new 13" snare.......

Image
Dave from Diamond Drums has helped me realise my dream and vision. His work truly is that of art. Only a couple of little touches left now.
Also note the addition of the Rock Band midi pro adaptor. A nice new rug and a cymbal arm for the hi-hat to complete the set

Image
More getting ready for RB4 gas. Big time bought the TD-30 finally and a Vh-12SV with nice pearl 930 high hat stand .
Also ordered my new cymbals and will post photos once their built and arrive.

Again I can say How my kit appears finished with my Visualite Cymbals and Pintech ProX Series 12″ Tubular Drum Pad. As Beautiful as can be.
Ill be back for more I promise... MMM GAS

Next phase. Dave from Diamond Drums has finished my set. It will be on its way. Cannot wait to add to the progression with my new beasts.

All i will say is that it was truly GAS. It cost plenty but with the quality and workmanship it is money spent well.

An awesome kit like that deserves something better than CY-8's for cymbals - so get to it!

What?!? You think she can tell the difference between a CY-8 and a CY-12/13/14/15? Or is she in charge of the credit cards?

She worked for many years in accounts payable. She knows all she sees all. Especially after this purchase. But in a few months...

Gotcha, Pitz. My wife is a CPA, and after all of the crap I've done to my controller/kit, it's pretty hard for me to get anything by her, too. BTW, I wanted to get a DD bass drum, but the shipping was just too much for me to handle. After seeing your pics, I'm beginning to reconsider.
