Most glue on connectors EVER. Left all the electronics intact due to this. Its BAD. (Cept battery box, desoldered that)

Image

Control board PCB "TRAY" - This was nice since I coudl pull the whole thing and not worry about getting paint in the button sockets.

Trayless shell

Image

The orange key - The only solo key. All keys just use the plastic hinge and the button itself as the "spring" and are keyed onto a greased track nub for support. It will be interesting to see how these wear.

Other keys come out in clusterd stacks. Every other white key, then the other set, then the black keys.

Greasy key guides and felt cushion come out as one item.

I thought about painting the wifes keyboard blue. Got mine at a small chain store here in IOWA. Anyway, I didn't wanna have to go to ticketmaster to sleep for the next week, pretending to wait in line for tickets. Cause If I took her keys apart Id be looking for a new place to live.

I'm really surprised the keys aren't available in different colors.

If keys take off, I'm sure they will be. For the time being, however, MC wants to make sure that they get them out there without spending more money than necessary.
