Whammy Fix for X-Box P-Bass

Postby NinaD » Tue Apr 25, 2017 4:14 pm

Hello,

Not many people cruising the forums anymore, but I did want to let people know that I have come up with a great whammy knob fix for the P-Bass.

I took one of the drum head sensors and plugged it into the whammy slot on my P-Bass. Ran the sensor up through the body of the guitar and glued it behind the face plate, just below the double strum bar. Now when I want to build up overdrive on the shorter white notes, I just have to tap or rub the front of the guitar just below the strum bars. No more reaching down for that horrible knob. It works like a dream.

If anyone has questions I can answer them or post photos for you.

You should post photos, that sounds like a good one.
You, my confused little friend, need a clue. Luckily, I have one here shaped like a nightstick.
